Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has received a major boost following an enthusiastic reaction from filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Impressed by Vijay’s performance and the intensity he brings to the action sequences, Vanga urged audiences to watch the film and heaped praise on the actor’s portrayal.
Taking to social media, Vanga wrote, “Guys… go watch RANABAALI for Deverakonda Vijay Sai’s outstanding character portrayal. Your action has a raw, untamed ferocity that can’t be manufactured. There’s a terrifying intensity in the way you fight.”
He went on to make a strong prediction about Vijay’s future as an action star.
“I genuinely believe you’ll be the next DEFINING ACTION HERO OF INDIAN CINEMA. Vijay, congratulations. SINGANAMALA BOBBILI RANABAALI RA NEE AKKA,” he wrote.
Vanga also praised the connection between Vijay and Rashmika, saying it goes beyond conventional on-screen chemistry. He described Rashmika’s portrayal of Jayamma as “so achingly real,” appreciating the authenticity she brings to the character.
He also praised Ajay-Atul’s music, highlighting it as another major strength of the film.
Concluding his message, Vanga appreciated director Rahul Sankrityan for the care and curiosity with which he approached the historical backdrop. He also noted that the film explores a chapter of history that, in his view, school textbooks were reluctant to show.
With such high praise coming from a filmmaker like Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranabaali has received fresh momentum, drawing further attention to its performances, music and historical setting.
