KCR Prefers To Ignore Governor?

It appears TRS president and CM KCR has decided to ignore state Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, who apparently sought to prove him by making sharp comments on the handling of Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

It was evident from the way TRS legislator from Huzurnagar assembly constituency Sanampudi Saidi Reddy deleting his tweet attacking the Governor for making strong remarks against the KCR government in an interview to a national television channel.

Apparently, Saidi Reddy was forced to remove the tweet from his Twitter handle following instructions from the TRS bosses.

Party working president K T Rama Rao reportedly conveyed KCR’s message to the MLA asking him to delete his comments.

Within hours of Tamilsai’s interview was telecast in the channel, Saidi Reddy alleged that the Governor was behaving like the BJP state president.

He said Telangana was far ahead of several state in testing and containment of Coronavirus.

“KCR is a role model for other states and even central ministers appreciated his measures to contain Covid-19,” he said.

Tamilisai said she had written at least five to six letters to the state government cautioning the authorities on intensity of Coronavirus and its rapid spread in the community, but there had not been much response from the state.

Even in dealing with the containment zones, the government displayed an indifferent attitude, she alleged.

Apparently, the TRS leadership has felt that the BJP leaders were trying to fire at the state government from the shoulders of the Governor.

“It is better to ignore them and even the Governor, so that they would not get unnecessary publicity. Let us do our job,” KTR is learnt to have told the party leaders.
