Year Of Soar Memories, Anti-Women Policies

Hyderabad: The year 2015 has left behind soar memories of the unscrupulous policies of TDP government, which has seen a slew of scams in which ruling party members were involved and will be remembered as the year of anti-women from the State’s view point.

"The year has gone by leaving unpleasant memories of Call Money cum sex racket, and the breaking of cash for vote scam in which Chief Minister was named and the ruling party members’ names figuring the various scams and rackets while it has also seen the suspension for one year of MLA Roja and the heart rending sordid tales of DWACRA groups and Anganwadi groups," party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Thursday.

The year has seen the Chief Minister himself being involved in the cash for vote scam, and it has ended with the Call Money cum sex racket and the TDP government has shown its anti-women attitude by suspending our party MLA RK Roja for one year, an unprecedented action in the books of parliamentary history, and TDP leaders using foul language against Anganwadi workers and the DWACRA groups being pushed into hardships for the state’s failure to waive the loans.

The farmers as well were pushed into debt trap by failing to honour the loan waiver promise and Chandrababu Naidu keeping mum on the affidavit filed by the Centre on sharing of Krishna Waters shows that there was compromise by Chandrababu Naidu on state’s interests for personal and political gains, he said.

The Chief Minister has made much noise and spoke of Section 8 immediately after the cash for vote scam broke out but seems to be compromised and the two chief ministers, who accused and abused each other on personal levels, have now come to grips and are showing camaraderie for obvious reasons.

The year has also seen the land acquisition from farmers by force and the Singapore private venture coming out of the bag as the deal was not a government to government but a private one. This apart, sand mafia, land mafia, liquor mafia and Call Money mafia with the active involvement of TDP leader have come to the fore, he said.

The scorn of women, who are unhappy, will continue to haunt the TDP government which will be swept out in the next polls, he said.
