TNGOs chief disappointed, but not upset

Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association president Devi Prasad on Sunday denied reports that he was upset with the TRS leadership for denial of ticket for the by-elections to Medak Lok Sabha seat.

Speaking to media persons at NGOs Bhavan here, Devi Prasad admitted that he was an aspirant for the ticket and was disappointed for not getting the same.

However, he said he was not upset with the denial of ticket. He said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had asked him to stay in State politics as his role was required in strengthening the ties between the employees and the State Government.

Devi Prasad said he would abide by the decision of KCR and would ensure that the employees extend full cooperation in achieving the target of "Bangaru Telangana".

He accused the opposition parties of spreading falsehood by floating stories of him being upset with the Chief Minister for denial of ticket.
