Telangana Assembly To Be Dissolved On Thursday

Telangana Assembly To Be Dissolved On Thursday

The countdown for the dissolution of the Telangana state assembly has finally begun.

In all probability, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will go in for dissolution of the state Assembly on Thursday, so that early elections will be held in December along with the four other states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Mizoram.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the state cabinet would meet at 6 am early Thursday after which the chief minister would proceed to Raj Bhavan to submit a letter to Governor ESL Narasimhan for dissolution of the Assembly at around 6.45 am.

Apparently, astrologers told KCR that it would be the perfect muhurtham for the assembly dissolution. It will be sixth day of the month and sixth hour of the day. It is also Ekadasi, which is very auspicious.

On Tuesday, messages were sent to all ministers to be present in the city by Thursday morning. KCR also instructed the MLAs to complete all their programmes in their constituencies and get ready for the action.

The astrologers also advised KCR to launch the election campaign on September 7, which is auspicious Friday of Telugu month Shravanam. Husnabad is said to have been chosen because it is on the northeast of the state.

His farmhouse at Gajwel in Siddipet district is another sentiment for KCR. He has been operating from there since Monday.

He had addressed a mammoth public meeting at Kongara Kalan on Hyderabad outskirts on Sunday. He hinted at taking a decision on early polls shortly.

He kept meeting his confidants at the farmhouse and was passing on instructions to the officials from there.
