Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has finally given clean chit to media baron and Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao and declared that Ramoji had not encroached upon even a single cent of government or assigned land.
KCR told media in Warangal that every single inch of land in Ramoji Film City was purchased by Ramoji Rao with his hard earned money.
As such, there was no land grabbing in the film city. He denied earlier media reports quoting him as saying that he would evict Ramoji Rao from the RFC and plough the film city land.
“I had never made such a statement. It was just fabrication by media. In fact, when former chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy was targeting Ramoji Rao, I had strongly opposed the same,” he said.
The Chief Minister said when he had gone to RFC recently, he made enquiries about the allegations against Ramoji Rao.
“And I was convinced that all the allegations against Ramoji Rao were false. In fact, he is building a great spiritual city over there and it would be a world-class tourist attraction,” he said.
KCR also made it clear that he would not discriminate against Andhra Pradesh in doing business in Telangana. “We will roll out red carpet to all the investors, even if they are from AP,” he said.
