Prior to bifurcation, it was said that once the state gets separated, Hyderabad would lose its sheen and that many factories, industries and organizations would shift base to Andhra.
However, in what can be seen as scene reversal, even the film industry that is dominated by Andhra people has chosen to remain in Telangana.
Incidentally, the IT scene is simulating the situation too. With each passing day, a new announcement is being made to boost the employment opportunities in Telangana.
The latest push for the Telangana government has come in the form of Google deciding to shift its local operations to its own campus in Hyderabad.
Now, given that it is Google and it carries most of its digital marketing activities here, many are expecting that it would be a structure to look forward to.
Also, since it will be its own campus, the scope and range of the campus would be on par with its other international centres. Naturally, its operations would expand too and take on a new dimension.
Now that Google has confirmed its plans which have been going on for a very long time now, it will give a huge boost to the rest of companies waiting to see which way to shift. In all, Google staying put in Hyderabad is a huge plus for Telangana.
