After saying that the Telangana Bill was not introduced in the Lok Sabha following the ruckus created by the Telugu MPs, BJP party leader Sushma Swaraj later posted a comment on social networking site Twitter saying that the party was committed to the cause of a separate Telangana state.
She clarified that their party’s stand on the issue did not change.
Senior BJP leader Advani says that the T Bill should not be tabled. Sushma herself said that the Bill was not introduced in Parliament.
On the other hand, Rajnath Singh said that as the party president, he was reiterating BJP’s commitment to separate Telangana.
Ideally, it would be best if BJP can spell out on what terms it would support the Bill and on what basis they would reject the Bill.
Instead, they are playing the wait game like our local leaders.
