YSRCP MPs Not Bothered About Development?

As was expected, Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister has severely condemned the absence of YSRCP MPs to an all-party meet convened to discuss the developmental activities in Andhra Pradesh.

However, the YSRCP MPs were conspicuous by their absence and Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that despite making allegations about the ruling party, YSRCP members lacked the sincerity to attend a meeting specially organized to discuss a strategy for development.

He said during the meeting, 35 points on which AP needed Central support were highlighted.

Yanamala also revealed that a special request was made to all MPs asking them to put in efforts to make sure that the Central government fulfilled all the promises it made as a part of the state bifurcation bill.

Meanwhile, Congress MP T Subbirami Reddy said that the MPs had asked the Central government to release Rs 5000 crore for the development of a new capital city.

He added that his party MPs would put in all efforts to pressurize the Central government to release the promised funds at the earliest.
