YSRCP Becomes Recognized Party

YSRCP Becomes Recognized Party

Election Commission of India has considered YSRCP as a recognized party in Andhra Pradesh. YSRCP stood as the second largest party in state with 45% of votes in 2014 general elections and the party has secured 67 MLA seats and 8 MP seats.

With this, Fan symbol has been allocated as a permanent one for all the members who will be contesting from the party.

Election Commission Secretary Pramod Kumar has released a statement regarding the same and from here on, YSRCP will be considered as a recognized party in Andhra Pradesh.

Lot of speculations are being made that YSRCP MLA's or MP's can change the party without re-elections as the party has been a registered one but not a recognized party so far.

YSRCP leaders thanked election commission after the official statement was announced.
