YSRC to start agitations against Naidu govt

After waiting for nearly 100 days to watch the performance of the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh, the YSR Congress Party has decided to launch a massive agitation exposing the failures of the ruling party.

The party will highlight the failures of the TDP government in implementing the election promises, more so the loan waiver of farmers and women groups, and take up agitation programmes besides taking steps to strengthen the Party from village level. A decision to this effect was taken at a State-level meeting chaired by party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The meeting has chalked out a programme to strengthen the Party by forming committees at village and mandal level and carry out the agitation programme against the state government, according to party senior leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.

The agitation programme will be in October beginning with mandal level and will escalate to district level and an action plan is also being chalked out with Jagan taking the lead, they said.

The shoddy manner in which TDP is governing the state will be questioned at all levels and the loan waiver issue will be highlighted during the agitation programme, details of which will be released later, they said.
