YSRC MPs Quit, What Next?

YSRC MPs Quit, What Next?

Everything took place as per the script. The Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die without transacting any business on the last day of the assembly on Friday.

The notices served by the Telugu Desam Party and the YSR Congress party MPs for the no-confidence motion against Narendra Modi-led NDA government went into the dustbin. In fact, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not even look at the notices and adjourned the House soon after reading out the mandatory statistics.

As expected, YSR Congress party MPs came prepared with their resignation letters in Speaker’s format.

At around 12 noon, they went to her chambers and handed over the letters individually. Since they are in the regular format, the Speaker might accept the same.

And from Parliament, the MPs would go in a rally to Andhra Pradesh Bhawan where they would sit in an indefinite fast from afternoon.

Now, the question is what is going to happen next? Will the MPs be allowed to continue their fast till death? Everybody knows it will not happen.

After waiting for a few days, they would be forcibly shifted to hospital, where they would be forced to withdraw the fast. And the MPs would go to Andhra Pradesh to intensify their agitation.

However, the TDP leadership suspects that the BJP leadership has a master plan under its sleeve.

After allowing the YSRC MPs to take up fasting for a few days, the BJP bosses and Prime Minister Narendra Modi would announce that the Centre would include the special category status to AP issue in the terms of reference to 15th finance commission and it would come into implementation after the 2019 elections for the next five years.

As a result, the MPs would withdraw their fast and the BJP would give all credit to the YSRC for the same.

Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, too, would fall in line and join hands with the BJP and YSRC. And Naidu would have to face elections with a blank face!

Let us watch out whether it will really happen or not!
