Yellow Media Changing The Tune

Yellow Media Changing The Tune

What the Congress Party could not do all these years, TRS managed to achieve by kicking the TDP out of Telangana completely.

The Party does not have a single MLA in the region today and their cadre is completely adrift.

Chandrababu Naidu himself has abandoned the Andhras in Telangana by running away to Amaravati.

Against this backdrop, the Party sees a small ray of hope in still retaining its identity in the region.

KCR’s anti-Andhra and anti-SCS to AP stand has alienated the Seemandhra voters in Telangana. The BJP has lost the sympathy of the Seemandhra people.

Against this backdrop, Congress which is planning to give tickets to Seemandhra people in Telangana will be likely to win a few seats in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

The TDP is now looking to support the Congress and retain its presence in the State. But hard core loyalists of TDP will not be able to digest the fact that TDP will join hands with Congress against which NTR had founded the Party.

Therefore, the yellow media is spinning the story that the Congress Party was the one who approached the TDP for an alliance. This will make it seem like it wasn’t TDP’s fault as they did not take the initiative.

In Andhra Pradesh though, Kiran Kumar Reddy has suggested to his Party high command that there be no alliance with the TDP in the State, of any kind.
