Wisdom Dawned On Lokesh, At Last!

It appears wisdom has dawned upon Telugu Desam Party general secretary and Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh at last.

Lokesh, who has been incurring the wrath of various sections of people for trying to intimidate social media campaigners by filing cases against them, has announced that he would ignore all sorts of criticism against him in the social media.

“I have been observing that a section of social media is deliberately slinging mud against me and projecting me in bad light, making all sorts of abusive comments. I have decided not to pay attention to such criticism hereafter,” Lokesh declared on Friday.

He, however, said those who were making wild allegations against him should prove them.

“I challenge them to prove the charges against me. Not every chief minister’s son will be like Jagan, who indulged in massive corruption using his father’s influence.

My grandfather was a chief minister by the time I was born. Later, my father became the chief minister. So, I have been in a comfortable position. If I am proved guilty of corruption, I am ready to tender apologies publicly,” Lokesh said.

It is good that Lokesh has decided against filing cases against social media campaigners. Otherwise, he would have created the impression among the people that he was behaving like a dictator. People in public life should learn to bear the criticism, however strong it might be.
