Wine Shop Comes Up Near Balayya's House!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been incurring the wrath of womenfolk all over the state over his latest excise policy, which allowed setting up of more number of liquor shops and bars to make big revenue.

Almost every day, there has been protests in one part of the state or the other, by women storming the liquor shops and destroying them or stating dharnas on roads and gheraoing politicians.

In the latest instance, women targeted none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna, MLA of Hindupur and brother-in-law of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Reason: A TDP leader supposed to be close to Balakrishna set up a wine shop in the same colony, where the actor-MLA took a house on rent at Hindpur.

The wine shop is set to be in the close vicinity of Balakrishna’s house and that led to the anger among the women.

They laid seize to Balakrishna’s house at Hindupur and started raising slogans. They even held a rasta rook in the area.

The women did not move from the place, even after the police entered the scene and tried to disperse them using force. They continued to raise slogans against the MLA.

Later, Balakrishna himself came out and spoke with the women and reassured that the shop will be shifted!
