Why Not Criminal Cases Against KCR?

Why Not Criminal Cases Against KCR?

Firebrand MLA from Kodangal and Congress leader A Revanth Reddy is perhaps the only person in the opposition party who makes some serious criticism against Telangana Rashtra Samithi and its president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

He makes a lot of homework before firing salvos at KCR and his family members and the TRS. That is why, the TRS leaders cannot rebut his criticism so easily, but they only try to attack him personally.

On Saturday, Revanth Reddy raised an important question. He alleged that KCR had violated all the laws to organise the public meeting.

“The chief minister asked the party leaders to bring farmers on tractors and suggested that at least one tractor should be brought from each village in Telangana. Ferrying people on tractors is a crime as they are not meant for public transportation,” he said.

The Kodangal MLA threatened to file a case against the government for causing inconvenience to the people for bringing them to the meeting on tractors.

He also hit out at HMDA commissioner Janardhan Reddy for removing toll on the outer ring road for the government's public meeting. Questioning the court, he asked why it is not taking the case as suo moto.

Revanth also came down heavily on KCR saying that the CM who aimed to plant crores of trees under Haritha Haram programme was now uprooting them for Pragati Nivedana Sabha.

He also suggested the Green Tribunal arrest him by registering criminal cases.
