KCR met Narendra Modi without anybody accompanying him. The official version was that he met the PM to request the center for its help in the development of Telangana.
Which naturally gives rise to the suspicion: When the issue in question is the development of Telangana, why did KCR not have any of his advisors and officials accompanying him?
The BJP has more or less decided to adopt a friendly attitude towards KCR after the latter’s emphatic GHMC victory.
The BJP now realizes that they cannot go it all alone in Telangana and might again consider an alliance with the TRS which they had rejected earlier.
Since, they do not need anyone’s support currently, they might keep the status quo but indications are emerging in recent times thanks to the friendly policies towards Telangana being adopted by the Centre that it is only a matter of time before the TRS has an official pact with NDA. And TDP might well be dumped by the NDA soon.
KCR’s visit, say political insiders was only to talk over these various terms and conditions with Modi.
