Former minister and Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham seems to be in a state of confusion as to how to take his movement for Kapu reservations forward.
While he continues to write letters to Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, there is no clarity from him as to how he would step up his agitation.
On Sunday, Mudragada wrote yet another open letter to Naidu, asking the latter as to when the reservations to Kapus would be announced.
“How long we should wait for the reservations, since you will be completing three years in office shortly? It seems you have no intention to implement the promise you have made during the 2014 elections,” he alleged.
Mudragada sought to raise the other political issues to embarrass Naidu.
“You have been showing a lot of eagerness to acquire lands from innocent farmers for Machilipatnam port, Amaravati and industrial belt etc, by forcing them to sign documents at midnight. But the same eagerness is not shown in implementing our reservations,” he said.
There is no doubt that Mudragada’s letter would once again go into the dustbin. Unless he comes out with an action plan, there will be absolutely no impact on the Naidu government on Kapu reservations issue!
