They had claimed that the city would provide state of the art facilities for film-making and that it would be a one-stop shop for film shootings.
But since they could not get the kind of response they had anticipated, they started promoting it as an amusement park.
Cut to the present, KCR has announced that he would develop a film city on 2000 acres of land.
He promised that even Hollywood film-makers can come here and make their films. Naturally, this is giving sleepless nights to Ramoji Rao.
Already, plans are on in Tollywood to develop studios in Rajahmundry, Vizag and various other places. So if KCR’s plan materializes, then what’s the future of RFC?
