Sabbam Hari was given a congress ticket by YSR at the last minute to contest as MP from Anakapalle, not because Hari was expected to win but everyone thought that Allu Aravind would win.
But the people of Anakapalle voted for Hari as Allu Aravind had absolutely no credibility given the numerous allegations against the ‘Praja Rajyam’ party.
When Jagan started the YSRCP, Sabbam Hari openly supported him and was one of the first to support him. This gave him a lot of exposure in the media. But he refused to resign as MP while supporting the YSRCP.
Later, after his relations with Jagan soured, he joined the ‘Jai Samaikhyandhra Party’ started by Kiran Kumar Reddy and was given a ticket to contest as MP from Vizag. But he ditched Kiran by opting out of the fray at the last minute after Kiran had canvassed for him in Vizag.
He then boasted that he had asked his cadre to vote for the TDP-BJP combine against YSRCP, as if this fellow had any cadre.
Now he says that Bothsa Satyanarayana is a backstabber of the ‘Samaikhyandhra movement’ and is one among 100 such leaders in the Congress.
Hari says that he has considerable influence in seven assembly constituencies and will work to ensure the defeat of Bothsa in the MLC elections.
Truth of the matter is that Hari cannot win from any constituency today and nobody has any regard for him. but his statements just to stay in the news are irritating. Bothsa is definitely a backstabber but Sabbam Hari is no saint either.
