Were Bus Travellers Shot Dead In Tirupati Encounter?

The media was full of news about the encounter at Seshachalam near Tirupathi a couple of days back. Now a new version of the story has emerged.

The relatives of the slain people who reached Tirupathi are alleging that the AP police had taken seven people traveling from Tamil Nadu to Tirupathi in a bus and killed them in a fake encounter.

Calling it a barbaric act, the relatives of the dead people are now demanding that the Tamil Nadu government file a case on AP police for murdering their people. The relatives are claiming that a person who escaped from the bus had told them about the incident.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu government has announced Rs 3 lakhs for each labourer killed in the encounter.

Even as furore in Tamil Nadu continues over the incident, stories in some news channels claim that the TN government had released some footage saying that it was the CCTV footage of the encounter to calm down its people.
