Errabelli has proved himself to be a smart politician by openly pithing for a Union Cabinet berth in the next reshuffle of the Modi cabinet.
Amid media reports that Revanth Reddy might be made the President of the T-TDP, Errabelli seems to have found an excellent way out of his predicament over being sidelined.
If Chandrababu is really sincere about his plans for Telangana, then she should definitely give the T-TDP, a representation in the Union Cabinet on the TDP quota as and when it happens.
But the Kamma lobby which is essentially the TDP might not want the opportunity of a union cabinet berth to go to someone else.
Already, Ashok Gajapathi Raju, a non-Kamma had to be accommodated. And besides, Errabelli is also a Velama, the same caste as KCR.
He has been meeting KCR in private, much to the discomfiture of the TDP.
And pretty much like the Kammas who irrespective of their Party affiliations are alleged to put their community interests ahead of everything else, the Velamas under KCR are gaining a similar reputation.
Apart from all that, there is no denying that it is a master stroke by Errabelli.
