Warangal Bypoll Develops Fissures In TRS!

Warangal Bypoll Develops Fissures In TRS!

The ensuing Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll has brought fissures out in open within the ruling the TRS party.

While there is already a lot of debate going on how Harish Rao was sidelined and KTR was favoured in the selection of candidate, the 'groupism' within Warangal TRS leaders has further compounded the woes of party ahead of crucial polls.

Former Deputy CM T Rajaiaih, who was sacked from the Deputy CM post unceremoniously over corruption allegations early this year is trying to use bypoll as a weapon to teach his own party leadership a befitting lesson.

The party activists got split vertically as Rajaiah group and Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari group. Both are resorting to attacks on each other in front of party leaders.

When a party-level meeting was held in Warangal on Sunday which was attended by many of the ministers to devise winning strategy, the followers of both the groups clashed with each other in full public view. The ministers could control the situation with much difficulty.

TRS leaders are worried that former Deputy CM Rajaiah would sabotage the party in the elections and work for TRS defeat and cause embarrassment to Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari in his own district.

In this way, he is planning to take revenge on both Kadiam Srihari and TRS party leadership at a time for insulting and humiliating him by stripping him of Deputy CM post.
