It looks like Telangana Congress leaders have started building castles in air with regard to coming to power in Telangana in 2019 elections.
They are of the firm view that there is a growing disenchantment among the people towards the present Telangana Rashtra Samithi government in the state.
According to TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, except for the KCR family, nobody is happy in the state.
“People of Telangana would teach TRS a befitting lesson for the mis-governance. The countdown for fall of TRS Government has begun," Uttam said at a party meeting.
He alleged that the TRS Government was pursuing anti-people policies. He said that no section of the society was happy with the government’s functioning.
He said that KCR family was indulging in corruption in the name of redesigning irrigation projects.
“The TRS is encouraging defections with the fear of losing power,” he said.
Stating that the prospects of the Congress coming to power in the state are bright as the TRS failed in providing efficient governance in the state, Uttam alleged that KCR was misusing public funds for his lavish expenditure.
Citing instances, he said that the Chief Minister had purchased a luxury bus worth Rs. 5 crore which was never used.
