After the Union Budget contained absolutely nothing for Andhra Pradesh, led by CM Chandrababu Naidu, one by one, certain prominent TDP people of the Party including Balakrishna openly voiced their criticism of their ally BJP. But this game of the TDP is all set to end now.
The TDP High Command (Nara Lokesh?) has sent out SMS to the Party leaders and functionaries asking them not to make public statements against the BJP.
The cadre are reportedly unhappy with this latest directive from the TDP.
“How can we face the people if we do not speak out at least now?” asked one Party official.
Indeed the Party is in a tough position as the ruling Party, the anger of the people will obviously be directed against it. Neither can they blame the YSRCP nor the BJP now for their predicament. But the directive makes one thing clear!
The TDP will not break its alliance with the BJP and neither will it’s Ministers resign from the Union Cabinet.
