Narsaraopeta MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has made a rather interesting statement. He said that their party has identified the police personnel and officials who had worked in favour of YSRCP during the polls in Jamili.
He is said to have confided to his aides that strict action would be taken against these officers and policemen.
By making such strong statements, Rayapati might add fuel to the fire and instigate opposition party members.
On the other hand, YSRCP members have alleged that Thota Narasimham who became an MP from Kakinada after joining TDP resorted to violence against certain sections of people in his village for not casting their votes for him. In retaliation, Narasimham’s relative Gandhi took up dharna.
Though sporadic, such incidents are surely not going to work towards fostering growth in the region in the coming years.
