Talasani's strange argument on Revanth!

Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy, who resigned from the TDP and joined the Congress party, has also claimed to have resigned from the assembly membership by submitting his resignation letter to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, instead of to assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary.

However, Naidu has been sitting over resignation letter, instead of forwarding the same to the Telangana speaker. If Revanth directly submits the letter to Speaker, the latter will have to accept it.

At the same time, the Speaker will also come under pressure to take an action on the petition of the Congress and the TDP, seeking disqualification of their party MLAs defected into the TRS.

Especially, TDP legislator from Sanathnagar Talasani Srinivasa Yadav has even got the cabinet berth in the K Chandrasekhar Rao cabinet.

He claimed that he had submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker, but the latter has not yet taken any action.

Now, Talasani is coming up with strange argument.

“The question of my resignation from the assembly membership does not arise now, because former TDLP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao had given a letter to the Speaker saying the TDLP has merged with the TRS. So, my resignation letter has become void,” he argued.

However, Srinivasa Yadav’s resignation from the TDP happened much before Errabelli’s letter. Moreover, the TDLP is still there and so, Errabelli’s letter has no sanctity. It means, Talasani’s argument has no merit!
