Launching a blistering attack on AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for pumping illegal money to buy MLAs for votes, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy today slammed that sweeping political changes will result in two Telugu States.
Speaking to media persons here, the Home Minister said there are records to show that Chandrababu Naidu was the ‘kingpin’ in the vote for note episode that turned dirty and raised many a few eye brows, he said.
Now Telugu Desam leadership was exerting pressure on Revanth to abstain from disclosing the name of Naidu during inquiry, he alleged.
Naidu had personally spoken to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to do a favour for the recently held elections and offered Rs 5 crore.
“We have records in this regard and the law will take its own course”, he stated. “Of course, the footage seen in television channels disclosed Naidu’s role in the murky handing over of Rs 50 lakhs to Stephenson”, he said.
As the case is sub judice, it is not good to speak about this, he said when asked to react on Revanth Reddy’s episode that landed him in Charlapally jail now.
It is being widely debated among public on the defamed Revanth episode at the behest of Naidu, he alleged.
He slammed Revanth for luring the nominated MLA during the MLC elections in which the TRS won all the five seats it contested.
Leaders vexed with the TD and the Congress are making it to the TRS to achieve Bangaru Telangana, he said.
Chief Minister KCR is pro poor and giving top priority for the welfare of the State, Narsimha Reddy said. The KCR Government is implementing schemes which were not announced during poll eve propaganda, he added.
