The much hyped about and controversial ‘survey’ conducted by the TRS government is now proving to be a huge headache for them.
The deadline for disbursing pensions in Telangana is December 10 and officials are working overtime.
Meanwhile the data gathered from the survey is being used for this purpose.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been entrusted with the responsibility of creating ‘pension software’ for identifying and disbursing pensions.
But the software professionals found that the data was highly irregular and inaccurate.
Many persons in the data have been allotted the same form numbers and there are many instances such as a ten year old boy being shown as eligible for old-age pension and old-age pension people coming under the disabled category.
