Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao appears to be have decided to give a damn to the criticism that he is promoting family rule in the party and the government.
KCR, who would be swearing-in as the first Chief Minister of Telangana on Monday, is learnt to have decided to accommodate both his son K T Rama Rao and nephew T Harish Rao in his cabinet to be formed along with him. KCR will be administered oath by Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Monday at 8.15 am.
Sources said the other seniors who are expected to be part of KCR’s ministry are: Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Etela Rajender, Koppula Eshwar, Mahmood Ali, Padma Devender Reddy, Konda Surekha and others.
KCR seems to have left his mark in the governance by appointing a senior Telangana bureaucrat Rajiv Sharma as Chief Secretary of Telangana State, while Anurag Sharma is being tipped to be new DGP.
Similarly, Shivadhar Reddy may head Intelligence wing and Mahender Reddy will be City Police Commissioner. The Telangana Government will have Mishra as its first Chief Forest Conservator.
