Venkayya was present along with Chandrababu at the launch of the Rs 3.22 crore airport beautification programme in Vizag.
There Venkayya ridiculed Jagan Mohan Reddy and other opposition parties for their furor over special status.
He stated that YS Jagan’s indefinite fast and dharnas by other political parties were not directed at the development but for mere survival.
Taking further dig at the Opposition parties, he said they were obstructing the development of the State at a time when it was keen on competing with the neighboring States.
So, it is the opposition parties that are obstructing the development of the state, Venkayya? And then comes Chandrababu Bhajana.
“We have a dynamic Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who can ask the Central government about the State’s requirement and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will definitely oblige him,’’ Venkayya Naidu said.
