It is being said that Prime Minister Modi and BJP president Amit Shah are suggesting some names for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Trust Board.
Since news is out that TTD’s Trust Board will soon be announced, there is growing pressure on Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu from all quarters as just about everyone from his own party members to BJP’s high command are putting in their recommendations.
It is being said that Modi and Shah have been requesting Babu to include people from Maharashtra and Gujarat into the Board instead of restricting it to Andhra and Telangana people.
Usually, a person each from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are also given membership. Since Telangana has become the neighbouring state, members will be chosen from there too.
At least two to three slots will go to Telangana this time. Meanwhile, ex MLA Krishna Murthy is leading the fray for the chairman’s position.
