Former Congress MP from Karimnagar Ponnam Prabhakar here on Monday observed that the current fuss over Section 8 of the A P Reorgansation Act was nothing but a political drama being enacted by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his AP counterpart Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
He said the employees of both the States had nothing to do with this political game. He wondered as to why the government employees were keeping quiet when there was inordinate delay in the division of employees by the Kamalanathan Committee.
Prabhakar alleged that Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association honorary president Deviprasad was willfully ignoring their issues if the employees for the sake of a political post, he said, adding that all the TNGO leaders have become puppets in the hands of ruling party leaders for plum posts.
He also warned that if Deviprasad and Srinivas Goud failed to take up the issues of the employees, a day will come when they would be shunted out from their posts.
