Revanth to become PCC working president?

Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy, who officially defected to the Congress party in New Delhi on Tuesday, is most likely to become the working president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.

Reports from New Delhi said the Congress high command is planning to reshuffle the TPCC and revamp the entire set up from top to bottom.

Instead of the routine state committee, it will have some major wings like state working committee, advisory committee and organising committee etc with top leaders in all the committees.

At present, there is a president – Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy and a working president – Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka – for the TPCC. If Revanth is made the working president, there would be two such posts.

All the senior party leaders who joined the Congress party along with Revanth would also be accommodated in major committees, sources said.

Revanth is most likely to be entrusted with the task of creating a young brigade that would tour extensively to all parts of the state to rejuvenate the cadres at all levels.

He would also take up extensive campaign in social media and other forms of the media for the party, party sources said.
