If it is Shashi Tharoor who is proving to be an embarrassment to the Congress, in the BJP it is MP, Shatrughan Sinha.
Reportedly, Sinha is unhappy with the BJP top brass ignoring him and has taken to provoking the Party on numerous occasions.
While Narendra Modi was touring Bihar and criticizing Nitish Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha met Nitish Kumar and called him a ‘leader of the masses’.
He was also one of those who signed the mercy petition calling for the death penalty of Yakub Memon to be annulled. And now, he has termed the suspension of Congress MP’s from Parliament an ‘unfortunate step’.
Apparently miffed with this, BJP leader and Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that since Shatrughan was a cine artiste and therefore one who did not attend Parliament regularly, he was unaware of the circumstances that led to the suspension of the Congress MP’s.
