Reddy To Quit Politics If Cong Won't Win!

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday accepted the challenge posed by IT Minister K T Rama Rao and announced that he would quit politics if Congress party fails to win next elections.

Addressing a meeting at Parkal as part of bus yatra, Uttam said he had seen KTR's statement in some newspapers challenging him on leaving politics in case of Congress party's defeat.

“I gave a reply to challenge long ago. Yet, I reiterate that I will quit politics if Congress fails to return to power in Telangana in next elections,” he said.

“Based on the overwhelming response which we got throughout the bus yatra, I can comfortably that the Congress party would sweep the next polls. The rising Congress wave will reduce TRS to a non-entity in Telangana politics," he said.

He said that he had served the Indian Air Force as fighter pilot and protected the country on China and Pakistan borders.

He said he would serve the people of Telangana and Congress party with the same dedication and commitment.

He said over four crore people of Telangana have lost all their hopes on TRS Government as KCR has failed to fulfil any of the promises made to them. Despite such a poor performance, KCR had adopted a highly arrogant attitude.

“The expulsion of Komatireddy Venkatreddy and A Sampath Kumar from Assembly membership was the result of both arrogance and fear of being exposed by the Congress party,” he said.
