JC Diwakar Reddy, TDP MP from Anantpur has been reduced to a mere spectator in the district after the elevation of Paritala Suneetha to the State cabinet.
The JC family and Paritala family have had a long standing rivalry. In fact, YS Raja Reddy and Paritala Ravi initially joined hands to fight JC Diwakar Reddy’s arrack business in the region.
Though JC Diwakar Reddy has been a part of the Congress, at the best of times, his relationship with the YSR family was strained.
After the bifurcation of the State, Reddy jumped to the TDP and won as MP. But the shots in the region are now called by the Paritala family.
Incidentally, JC was also accused of complicity in the murder of Paritala Ravi. Completely sidelined at the Center by Modi and at the State level by Chandrababu, JC has now started making sensational statements questioning the functioning styles of Modi and Naidu.
Will this improve his political prospects?
