Stage is set for the defection of Anam brothers – Anam Vivekananda Reddy and Anam Ramnarayan Reddy – to join the Telugu Desam Party.
On Saturday, former MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy met TDP president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Lake View guest house, lending credence to reports that he and his brother are all set to desert Congress and join the TDP.
Anam brothers have deliberately distanced themselves from the activities of Congress party. They gave ample indications that they are going to join some other party.
After both the brothers lost the elections, speculations were rife that Vivekananda Reddy might retire from politics.
Anam Vivekananda Reddy’s son also active in politics and has contested in the Assembly elections. It now turns out that he has cleared the decks to join the TDP.
