Ram Madhav in control over Andhra BJP?

Ram Madhav in control over Andhra BJP?

With veteran leader and former Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu quitting the Bharatiya Janata Party following his nomination for the Vice President of India post, the BJP top leadership is said to have entrusted the task of handling the party affairs in Andhra Pradesh to its national general secretary Ram Madhav.

A close confidant of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah for a long time, Ram Madhav, along with his colleague Muralidhar Rao took part in the party’s state executive meeting held at Warangal on Sunday.

According to sources from Warangal, Ram Madhav is likely to handle the party affairs in AP, while Muralidhar Rao will do the job in Telangana.

After Venkaiah’s exit from the party politics, the cadre in Andhra is looking for a leader who can show them direction to grow independently, rather than playing second fiddle to the Telugu Desam Party.

And there is no better person than Ram Madhav, who handled the party affairs in Bihar and Kashmir, to take up the job. One, he is from East Godavari district with close connections with every leader.

So, the party cadre hopes he would bring new life to the party in Andhra!
