Rajaiah Challenges KCR

Unfazed by his dismissal, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on Wednesday threw a challenge to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, albeit indirectly, stating that the government can order any sort of inquiry into the alleged corruption and irregularities charged against him.

A section of the media claimed that Rajaiah got himself admitted in the Apollo hospital only to ‘escape’ from an inquiry reportedly ordered by the State government on the alleged corruption charges and irregularities in the Health department during his stint as health minister.

While coming out of the hospital, Rajaiah urged Telangana government to conduct an inquiry to uncover the real culprits and facts about corruption charges.

“I am ready to accept any punishment” if proved guilty of corruption charges, a perturbed Rajaiah told media persons.

He reiterated that he would not leave the TRS and continue to work under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
