Hyderabad: An attack was carried out on a producer who has his office in Road No 10, Banjara Hills. The attackers included another producer and his henchmen who raided his office and took away his car.
The area falls under the Banjara Hills police station and according to the police version, the office of producer Tadakala Rajesh is situated on Road No 10. Rajesh has films titled Veta, Udata Udata Ooch, Kumar Versus Kumari in the making on his banner Busy Ventures. Recently, he also started another production.
Apparently, Rajesh had a tie-up with another producer Mahender, after which Mahender gave Rs 11 lakh to Rajesh. But even before the film production began, Mahender started pressuring Rajesh to return the amount.
Incidentally, Rajesh had given signing amounts to hero Siva Balaji and other technicians and said he had no money to give to Mahender. On Tuesday night, Mahender along with Rajender, Kanna and 15 others attacked Rajesh at his office. They manhandled Rajesh, broke furniture and took away his car.
Now, the Banjara Hills police have filed a case against Mahender and his henchmen following a complaint lodged by Rajesh. Right now, the hunt is on for Mahender and others involved in the incident.
