Poor Raghuveera Reddy is really not enjoying his stint as the PCC chief of Andhra Pradesh.
His visits as PCC chief are totally devoid of any fanfare and since the Congress hit rock bottom after 2014 elections, Raghuveera’s visit to Vizag was not covered. In fact, even media stopped trying to cover him as he has more or less become inconsequential.
Also, once the top leaders of Congress quit the party, other leaders have stopped coming out too. So Raghuveera is being forced to hold a press conference in his office like a lower rung politician.
In the past, it was a big thing if the PCC chief was visiting. Now the situation is such that it does not get covered in media even on the next day.
Well, times have changed and there is little Raghveera can do but to go ahead with the times.
