More than anybody else, it is YSR Congress party which is celebrating the outburst of Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan against the Telugu Desam Party and its president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the public meeting in Guntur on Wednesday.
The sudden outburst of Pawan Kalyan suddenly against the TDP took everybody by surprise and made one wonder why he shifted his affinity from the TDP and went hammer and tongs against Naidu.
The answer came from YSRC MP from Tirupati V Varaprasad Rao on Thursday. He told media in New Delhi that Pawan had agreed to support YSR Congress party after the next elections.
“A few days ago, I met Pawan Kalyan and he asked me why the YSRC was describing him as backroom boy of the TDP. He said he had nothing to do with the TDP and would never support it. And he said if necessary, the Jana Sena would support the YSRC after the elections,” Varaprasad said.
The YSRC leader said Pawan had agreed to join hands with the YSRC to launch a fight against the TDP and the BJP and demand special category status to AP.
The way Pawan spared YSR Congress party and its present Jaganmohan Reddy and attacked only Naidu and his corrupt government has given rise to the impression that Pawan may join hands with Jagan.
But how far it is correct and whether Pawan would deny Varaprasad comments has to be awaited.
