Actor-turned-Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has been trying to woo not only all Kapus and BCs during his ongoing Praja Porata Yatra in West Godavari district, but also Christian minorities who are in big numbers in the district.
On Sunday, Pawan conducted special prayers in the Rupantaram church at Bhimavaram, considered to be the biggest church in West Godavari district.
He recalled a saying in Bible which he had read during his childhood, which said people who give up their egos would grow multi-fold.
“I have learnt a lot from the Holy Bible. It teaches us how to live with love, peace, patience and pardon. Everybody has many things to learn from Christianity,” he said.
And Jana Sena president said Holy Bible also adorned his puja room along with Bhagawad Gita.
“I believe in all religions and all faiths. I had christened my daughter in a church,” Pawan said.
May be, Pawan has to religiously follow Christian faith because of his Russian wife, who is a Christian!
