Pawan Gets Support From TDP!

Pawan Gets Support From TDP!

With the comments made by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy against actor and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan referring to his marital issues kicking up a major political storm in the state, the Telugu Desam Party did not lose much time and quickly jumped into the fray to condemn the comments.

TDP spokesman and MLC Budda Venkanna came down heavily on Jagan for making personal comments against Pawan.

“These are highly objectionable. Jagan should not have made such comments targeting Pawan personally. People are watching closely the behaviour and attitude of every leader and they will teach a befitting lesson to them in next elections,” he said.

Apparently, the TDP is trying to provoke the Kapu community leaders against Jagan for making personal attack on Pawan.

Interestingly, the pro-TDP media like Andhra Jyothy sought to exploit the situation by prominently highlighting Jagan’s comments, thereby instigating Pawan’s fans and also the Kapu leaders.

The media also sought to expose the alleged “ignorance” of Jagan in failing to do proper homework before attacking Pawan.

“It was true that Pawan has married three wives, but he married the third wife only after divorcing the first two wives one after the other. How can Jagan say Pawan is Nitya Pellikoduku and is fit to be thrown behind the bars?” the media report questioned.

It also sought to create a sort of anxiety among the Kapu leaders of the YSRC, by stating that the personal comments against Pawan will cause immense damage to the party in the Kapu belt. It says several aspirants for YSRC tickets in these segments are now in second thoughts.

One would not be surprised if there is a barrage of attack from the TDP leaders, including chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, against Jagan in the coming days for targeting Pawan!
