If the speculations doing rounds in political circles are to be believed, power star-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan is silently working on building his political party Jana Sena so as to make it ready for 2019 elections.
According to these reports, Pawan Kalyan has been working out strategies to develop Jana Sena into a full-fledged party.
“He is presently identifying issues that might help him go into the people and build up the mass movements in the coming days.
"Secondly, he is also working out ways to mobilise financial resources for the party, since it is not so easy to build a huge organisation across the two Telugu states from grass-root level without money.
"Obviously, he does not want to make the mistake of his brother Chiranjeevi of going into elections without the party organisation,” sources said.
Pawan is said to be going to London very shortly to have an interaction with like-minded people in building up the party and mobilising funds. He would also then go to the US on a similar mission, say sources.
Apparently, Pawan is of the view that there would definitely some political vacuum in Andhra Pradesh by 2019, since the main Opposition YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy might not put up a tough fight against the TDP.
So, there is always a chance for Jana Sena to emerge as an alternative; and if necessary, it would have a tie-up with the BJP which is desperate to get out of the TDP clutches, sources said.
