YSR Congress party president and Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy seems to have decided that only offensive is the best form of defence and san aggressive posture from him would help his party take on the ruling Telugu Desam Party.
Jagan, who had been on the defensive all these days in the wake of a CBI inquiry against him, has been putting up an aggressive stand in the Assembly and fighting the TDP leadership almost single handedly.
He is not afraid of making wild attacks on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and even on Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
While refusing to budge on his statement that the TDP leaders were acting like buffoons, the YSR Congress party chief even went to the extent of planning a no-confidence motion against the Speaker.
On Monday, Jagan once again made an attack on Kodela, saying he was fully cooperating with the TDP members in making wild allegations against him.
“Thanks to your support and cooperation, the ruling party leaders are behaving recklessly and making all sorts of comments,” Jagan said, triggering wild protests from the TDP members. Even the Speaker reprimanded him for casting aspersions on the Chair.
