NTR Trust Bhavan Closed For TDP?

NTR Trust Bhavan Closed For TDP?

With Telugu Desam Party decided to shift lock, stock and barrel to its central office coming up at Mangalagiri in Guntur district, the NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad will now be shut for all the political activities of the party, according to party sources.

TDP national president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday laid the foundation stone for the construction of the party central office and unveiled a plaque at Atmakuru village in Managalagiri.

Naidu told the party leaders that the building would be ready by December next and the entire party would start operating from it.

He asked them to focus on the next elections and work hard from now on.

Party sources said Naidu would not be able to come to Hyderabad hereafter for the party activities.

As far as Telangana TDP activities are concerned, he would ask them to come to the central office at Guntur to discuss issues, if any, with regard to Telangana.

This is definitely a disappointing news for the Telangana TDP leaders, who have been hoping to get some rejuvenation in the cadres whenever Naidu comes to Hyderabad.

During his recent meeting at NTR Trust Bhavan, there was a huge turnout of the cadres and it really sent some positive signals to the cadre.

However, with Naidu deciding to shift the entire party activities to Guntur, they would lose their morale again.

Already, several top leaders have defected to the Congress and the TRS and many more are getting ready for defections.

Now that the TDP is shifting completely to Guntur, the party is more or less dead in Telangana.

Source said NTR Trust Bhavan would now be utilised for charity and cultural activities, besides being used as a skill development centre for party workers.

In the long run, there is no wonder if Naidu puts up the NTR Bhavan for sale and shifts the same to Amaravati!
