Now, Naidu To Dump BJP For Third Front?

Now, Naidu To Dump BJP For Third Front?

The Bihar election results, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party has received severe drubbing, have once again come as an occasion to expose the opportunistic politics of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

After the Bihar election results, the talk of revival of third front has come back to discussion.

According to the discussions doing rounds in the media circles, JD (U)-RJD combine might revive the attempt to float the third front with the support of other parties like Trinamul Congress in West Bengal, Bahujan Samaj Party in UP, AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, JD (S) in Karnataka, Aam Admi Party in Delhi, NCP in Maharashtra and other regional parties across the country.

Since the Congress is on a weak wicket and the BJP is in trouble, the revival of third front by next elections will be a better option, say sources.

Now, the question is what would Naidu do? Known for his rank opportunism, Naidu will definitely not lose any such opportunity to wield power.

He will not hesitate to dump the BJP again if it loses yet another couple of Assembly elections on the ground that people are rejecting the communal politics.

He might also show refusal to grant special status to AP as an excuse to get out of the NDA and join the third front before 2019 polls, say sources.
