Now, Medak To Be Trifurcated!

After the bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana State, it is now the turn of the districts to get divided.

On Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao announced that Medak district will be trifurcated into Medak, Siddipet and Sanga Reddy districts.

He assured to sanction Rs 1 crore each for infrastructure and other developmental works.

During a review meeting of the district development here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister maintained that the government will focus on mitigating the problems related to roads, drainage and power.

The CM announced that he would give Rs 25 lakhs to four selected mandals and Rs 15 lakh to each village in the district for infrastructure and developmental works.

He directed the officials to involve people in the speedy development of Medak town which will get an outer ring road to cater to future needs.

Besides focusing on to beautify Medak town, the Chief Minister promised to provide an underground drainage system and allot adequate number of transformers to address power problem in the district.

He asked the officials to shoulder the responsibility of making optimal use of human resources for achieving growth on time.
